The story really picks up when it shifts focus from a muddled and difficult to follow beginning to RZA's rise as Prince Rakeem and the first union of the Wu Tang Clan in the finale. Near perfect for a fan of their music however I would definitely familiarize yourself with at the very least their first album because if your not a fan of Wu Tang than I doubt you'll find the patience to watch this season or feel the payoff of certain moments. This show was able to make one of the most slept on songs from their first album Wu Tang 7th Chamber my absolute all time favorite song and crafted a scene I used to rewatch every few months.
